The Red Magpie Story
Lance went to Sydney for a Rolling Stones concert..... For 25 Years! Before returning to the Top of South Region with his wife, Margi.
The timing was right for a tree change from the hustle and bustle of Sydney. Upper Moutere was calling.
Margi and Lance found a life style block suitable for growing their own produce and raising animals in the beautiful Tasman basin.
Margi started the Dovedale Market in 2023 which has brought the wider community together not just to buy, sell and trade but to meet up, chat and enjoy a cuppa together.
Margi and Lance began selling Preservative Free Apple Juice and Chook Food at the market. They realised there was significant demand for a wider range of products to support the Tasman residents.
Red Magpie Supplies, an old school, rural supplies hub focusing on service, wellbeing and healthy products was born.
Call in and see us we are open every Wednesday, Friday & Sunday from 10am - 5pm for all in-store sales, a coffee and a natter (and The Fonz likes the attention too)!
We don’t offer an online shopping service just yet, but no worries - just email us with your orders by close of business on a Wednesday and we will deliver the next day! All orders must be pre-paid to our account including delivery fee if applicable prior to delivery.
We deliver every Thursday, a small fee of $5 applies or you can collect in-store.
We also offer a 7 day order and collection service: Just email through an order in the morning for collection that afternoon or email in the afternoon for the next morning collection 7 days per week from our secure collections shed at 886 Neudorf Rd, Upper Moutere.
