Human uses for Goulter’s Apple Cider Vinegar
There are many great uses for ACV. Because the main substance in vinegar, acetic acid, can kill harmful bacteria or prevent them from multiplying, ACV regulates pH balance and detoxifies the body.
A daily ACV health tonic may support cleansing kidney, liver and colon, including helping combat yeast and bladder infections. ACV also makes a great gargle for sore throats and may help relieve migraines, sinus pressure, nausea, inflammation and heartburn.
Apple Cider Vinegar can reduce heart disease by lowering blood triglycerides, cholesterol and blood pressure. It has also shown great promise in improving insulin sensitivity and helping lower blood sugar responses after meals.
Animal uses for Apple Cider Vinegar
Research has shown that ACV prevents the onset of worms in livestock. Regular drenching with ACV also improves wool production in sheep and reduces mortality of lambs at birth.
In dogs Apple Cider Vinegar can soothe itchy skin and help clear ear infections. It also helps repel fleas and ticks on dogs and cats.
Adding ACV to water is said to increase egg production in poultry.
